Power tariff raise flayed

LAHORE - Sindh is blocking the water of Punjab but the rulers of the province instead of raising their voice are watching the scene as silent spectators, says Mian Asif, Secretary Information PML-Q (Like-Minded) Punjab. He expressed these views while talking to party workers at Gulshan-e-Ravi on Sunday. He said governments decision to increase the prices of electricity by 20 paisas from July 1 would be tantamount to end the poor from the society. Mian Asif said that PPP and PML-N were busy in safeguarding their governments at centre and the province, while the country was drifting towards anarchy.
