LAKKI MARWAT The district chapter of Malgari Ustazaan has called upon the provincial government and high ups of education department to abolish the procedure of conducting screening test for PST, CT and other vacant posts in Elementary and Secondary Education department. The teacher body held a meeting here under the chair of district president Rafiullah Khan. Giving details to local journalists, general secretary Jamil Ahmad Khan said that the participants expressed their concern over the screening test schedule for different posts in education department in the prevailing precarious conditions. The present circumstance and overall law and order situation is not favourable to conduct such activities in any part of the province, he maintained. He said to assemble thousands of candidates at one or several places for the test was also in violation of the standing operation procedure of security. Such gatherings should be avoided in the best interests of jobless youths who applied for the posts, he said. He demanded of the high ups concerned of education department to direct subordinate officials in the districts to avoid conducting screening tests for the vacant posts and hold interviews of the candidates on different daters.
