LAHORE - The PPPs Punjab Acting President Samiullah Khan on Sunday criticised Punjab Minister for Law, Rana Sanaullah Khan and demanded of PML-N Quaid, Mian Nawaz Sharif to take notice of the indecent language used by the minister against Punjab Governor Salmaan Taseer. Addressing a news conference here on Sunday, the PPP leader said that Rana Sana had shown his nervousness by saying that status of Punjab governor had now been reduced to a toilet paper after passage of the 18th Amendment. PPPs Punjab Deputy Secretary, Usman Saleem Malik also accompanied him. Samiullah alleged that law minister was using vulgar language against constitutional office of the governor at the behest of Punjab CM whose first and foremost priority was character assassination of Punjab governor instead of the deteriorating law and order situation. Sami said that use of filthy language by Sana was not limited to PPP leaders only as he also did so against Mian Nawaz Sharif and his family in 1992. A case was also registered against him at that time, he told reporters. He said offensive statements by the minister may destroy the process of political reconciliation between the PPP and the PML-N started since the days of former dictator Pervez Musharraf.
