KARACHI- A Deputy Commissioner survived an assassination attempt when armed men opened fire on his vehicle near Korangi today. The driver and guard of the deputy commissioner sustained bullet injuries when armed assailants attacked the vehicle in Karachi. They were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. The Deputy Commissioner remained safe in the attack according to Karachi Commissioner Shoaib Siddique.
