KOHAT  : Assistant commissioner Kohat Saturday sacked a female presiding officer (PO) for committing irregularities and favouring a PTI candidate. The assistant commissioner inspected a female polling station when he was informed that a presiding officer Akhtar Bibi was casting extra votes in favour of a PTI candidate. The assistant commissioner asked the presiding officer to leave the polling station otherwise he would order her arrest.
The assistant commissioner appointed new presiding officer and polling was restarted.
