Traffic rules highlighted to avoid accidents

We should abide by the traffic rules and regulations to avoid road accidents and ensure safe journey, SSP National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) Ghulam Jaffar emphasised while addressing a certificate-distribution ceremony to students who attained driving training from Road Safety Training Institute here the other day.
DSP Ghulam Safdar and Inspector Khalid Qureshi were also present on the occasion.
The NHMP SSP said that seat belt should be fasten during travel to make the journey safe, stressing that speed limits should not be breached to avoid accidents.
Earlier, he delivered a lecture to students regarding road safety and enlightened them about various traffic rules and tips for safe road journey.
Later, DSP Safdar awarded certificate and cash prize to In-charge Road Safety Training Institute Inspector Khalid Qureshi for best performance.
security advisory committees: Under the Punjab Security of Vulnerable Establishments Ordinance 2015, DPO Gohar Mushtaq Bhutta has constituted two security advisory committees in the district.
In connection with the ordinances, two advisory committees - one in Kahror Pakka headed by DSP Circle Jaleelur Rehman , another in Tehsil Daar headed by Incharge Special Branch have been formed. While President Anjuman-Tajraan Raja Muhammad Ibrahim, General Secretary Khawaja Ubaidur Rehman and Pesticide Association President Sheikh Nawab Din would be members of the the committees.
The DPO said that the committees would work for the security of sensitive areas and would also summon meetings to discuss steps for the improvement of law and order.
