Till independence of Palestine, Pakistan won’t accept Israel, says Tahir Ashrafi

ISLAMABAD   -   Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council Alama Tahir Ashrafi has said that no government in Pakistan will accept Israel until independence of Palestine.


Talking to reporters here, Maulana Tahir Ashrafi said that they will not accept Israel as a nation unless they give fundamental rights to Palestinians. Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council said, “Neither previous government accepted Israel nor the incumbent government will do that.” Ashrafi said that they had no relationship with any political party. He further said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia had no relations with Israel. Maulana Tahir Ashrafi said that they had same stance over Kashmir and Palestine. He said that “Pakistani people are standing with Kashmiri and Palestine. “If you want to know about brutality of Israel, ask from Palestinians.” He added that they had written a letter to Foreign Office to cancel passport of those whoever met with Israeli president.


Chairman Ulema Council said that no one was Pakistani in the delegation who met with Israel President, adding that “It was embarrassing our politicians are using meeting for political purpose”, he said. American NGO went there to meet with Israeli President which had no relation with Pakistan. He strongly condemned what happened in Masjid -e -Aqsa last day. Allama Ashrafi said that all parties’ leadership should solve issues through negotiations. Talking about Hajj, he said that Ministry of Religious Affair had said that Hajj prices were high worldwide, adding that most of people going for Nafli Hajj. However, he said that those went one time for Hajj don’t go for second. He requested that they would help the people of Thar and Cholistan.
