KARACHI (APP) - The Olympian Village Hockey Club Gojra qualified to represent Pakistan in Asian Club Hockey Championship when they won the National Club Hockey Championship by beating Larkana on penalty strokes at UBL Sports Complex Astroturf on Thursday. The final was locked 2-2 at the regulation time. However in the penalty stroke session Gojra Club scored two goals and Larkana one. Earlier Larkana showed great fighting spirit and came from 0-2 down to draw level 2-2 before losing in a shootout. Akber Ali and Manzoor Ahmed netted the first two goals for Gojra Club. But Majid Ali scored off penalty stroke and Asif Michael netted a field for Larkana to par terms. Olympian Village Club Gojra will now take part in Asian Club Hockey Championship to be held in Malaysia next month.
