TOBA TEK SINGH - The Education Department has cancelled the registration of a private high school situated in Kamalia on different charges.
EDO Education Syed Toqeer Hussain said that Irfan Ahmad from Kamalia had submitted a complaint to the Punjab Chief Minister in which he alleged that the management of Ravian science High School of Kamalia was charging excessive fees from students.
He said that the EDO Education appointed DDO-Education (female) Kamalia as an inquiry officer.
He further said that the school principal did not cooperate with the officer during inquiry and when the EDO himself called the principal to his office on September 14 for personal hearing he did not show up.
