A person was killed by his friends and the heirs of the victim placed the dead body on the road and protested against the police.
According to details, resident of Musafir Khana, near Bahawalpur, Muhammad Tariq Shah was invited to a marriage ceremony by Nadeem Bhutta who alleged murdered Tariq with the help of his friends Khadim Hussain and Madni.
After killing Tariq, Nadeem Bhutta called Tariq’s family and told them that there has been an accident in which Tariq died on which Tariq’s family rushed to the spot and found out there was no marks of accident present on the body of the victim. The family went to Musafir Khana Police Station and asked them to register a case against the criminals. The police told the family to take the dead body to the hospital for postmortem and they would come there as well.
The family waited for the police to arrive at Sama Satta Hospital till midnight and kept calling the police but no police official came to the hospital.
Then they put the body at Musafir Khana Bus Stand and blocked the LP Road and started protesting. DSP Saddar Bahawalpur Raja Ghulam Abbas arrived on spot but they refused to listen to him. They demanded arrest of the accused and suspension of the policemen.
KLP road was blocked for seven hours by the protesters on which DSP Saddar issued orders to suspend Musafir Khana Police Station’s ASI Muhammad Akmal and Mukhtar Joyia. Later MNA Mian Najeebuddin Awaisi arrived on spot and negotiated with the protesters and assured them of full police support on which they dispersed.
MAN KILLS WIFE: A man allegedly slaughtered his wife over a domestic dispute.
The resident of Chak 13 in Hasilpur, Anwar, killed his wife Khalida Parveen by slitting her throat with knife due to some domestic dispute. The victim had 4 children.
Khalida Parveen went to pick cotton crop. Anwar sent his children to call his wife back home. When she came back, he slaughtered her. After killing his wife Anwar presented himself to the police along with the instrumental and confessed to his crime. Police Station Saddar registered a case against Anwar and started proceedings.
