The FGEHF had announced allotment of Sector G-14’s sub sectors 1, 2 and 3 for different categories of government officers and other segments through balloting in 2003 but it was delayed due to illegal encroachment and built-up properties.
The FGEHF had issued notices to the allottees of sector G-14/1,2,3, in the light of Islamabad High court order of February 2014 in respect of award for BUPs of village Thalla Syedan.
Around 8,000 applicants were allotted plots in three sub-sectors and it was expected that within three to four years development of the sector will be completed and possession of the plots will be handed over to the allottees.
The administration of departments concerned at that time placed the matter of built-up properties compensation pending due to which allottees of sector G-14 suffered a lot. The management of FGEHF has now received the BUPs amount however the pace of work is still very slow.
