Since the former Prime Minister’s disqualification, PMl-N has been insisting that the removal of the Premiere is a severe blow to the growth of the country. Ministers blame judiciary, establishment and the judicial process for halting the progress through the promotion of an ‘unfair decision’. However, a quick appraisal reveals that all the processes are running smoothly. All current problems pertaining to economic situation, law and order and even foreign policy are connected to Nawaz’s dismissal. It is as if he is a cure for all diseases. If he isn’t in then everything will stop. Pakistan must build itself as a strong democratic country where institutions are above such disruptions. Governments and personalities come and go but the state keeps running.
