Islamia University of Bahawalpur highlighted in Dubai Pak pavilion

 Bahawalpur   -  Vice Chancellor, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob along with Secretary Agriculture South Punjab Saqib Ali Ateel reviewed the cooperation and collaboration for higher education and agricultural development with various international organizations on the occasion of Expo 2020 in Dubai.

 Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob, Vice Chancellor, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and Secretary, Agriculture, South Punjab, Saqib Ali Ateel are participating in the activities of the Pakistani Pavilion on the occasion of Expo 2020 at Dubai.

 During this visit, they will review the latest developments in the field of higher education and agriculture, as well as liaison and cooperation with international organizations on joint projects. On this occasion, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur is also being highlighted in the Pakistani pavilion. 

The Islamia University of Bahawalpur has recently welcomed international students for admission through the Directorate of International Linkages. 

An introductory video has also been prepared for this purpose, which will be exclusively played at the Dubai Expo. Meanwhile, the Vice Chancellor visited Magnetic Technologies, a state-of-the-art technology company in the United Arab Emirates. For the past 30 years, this organization has been serving in 25 countries in the fields of agriculture, environment, construction, energy and health sectors. During the visit, the Vice Chancellor and Secretary Agriculture South Punjab met with Junaid Muhammad Khoory, Chairman Magnetic Technologies and reviewed the cooperation and progress on agriculture, environment and other scientific fields in the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and South Punjab. During the meeting, the representative of the organization Marjuna Abda Lewa gave a briefing on the latest technologies in various fields including resettlement of barren and desert areas with artificial rain. 

The establishment of an experimental center by Magnetic Technologies at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur was also discussed during the meeting. Dr. Muhammad Ali Raza, Director, Intercropping Research Institute and Muhammad Khalid Sheikh, Executive Secretary Coordinator was also present on the occasion.
