Beaconhouse holds baccalaureate orientation session

Islamabad - The Beaconhouse Margalla Campus held an international baccalaureate orientation session for parents and students at the campus on Wednesday.
The students and parents from Beaconhouse Potohar Campus were also present on the occasion. This event was a continuation of a series of IB orientations to introduce the audience to the upcoming BSS IB programme and respond to their queries. The International Baccalaureate offers four high quality international education programmes to more than one million students in 146 countries.
The orientation started with the recitation of the Holy Quran. BMI Principal Asif Majeed Butt gave the welcome address. IB Diploma Programme (DP) Manager Bushra Jamal and her IB team made a presentation on the BMI IB programme.
BSS North Executive Director Nassir Kasuri and BSS North Academic Head Rahat Agha also spoke about how BMI is preparing for the IB programme, including the year-long training the IB team is undergoing. BMI is an IB candidate school in the process of receiving authorisation and will start the IB DP in 2015. Prospective students have already started contacting the school regarding admission in the IB DP.
