Islamabad - A high profile delegation from China Radio International (CRI) visited Roots Millennium Schools One World Campus, E-11/4, to see CRI-Roots Confucius Classroom Initiative.

The delegation consisted of Vice Director General CRI, Xia Jixuan, Vice Secretary Chief Editor of Brilliance weekly, Zhang Wei, director of Urdu service and deputy director of South Asia division of CRI, Zhao Qiao, Chief of Islamabad bureau of CRI, Wang Qi, and correspondent of Islamabad bureau of CRI, Qin Shengrui.

Director Roots Millennium Schools Sabina Zakir, Manager Millennium Chinese Language Department Ayesha Ansar, and Fizzah Mushtaq, Principal RMS One World Campus E-11/4, together with the Chinese Language faculty and management staff welcomed the delegation.

The aim of the visit was to promote the Chinese language and seek opportunities for the Pakistani students to carry on their higher education in various universities in China based on exchange as well as scholarships programmes.

The delegation pledged to facilitate RMS Chinese language teachers by providing them quality teacher training in Pakistan and China and also would like to further strengthen the Chinese language initiative undertaken by the RMS.

The RMS under the leadership and vision of Chaudhry Faisal Mushtaq (TI) launched the unique Chinese language school initiative three and half years before where now 5500 students of RMS are learning Chinese language on full time basis as part of their structured academic study plan and language curriculum from grade-1 to grade-7.
