Islamabad - Minister of State for Capital Administration & Development Division, Barrister Usman Ibrahim directed Pak PWD to complete the construction work of College of Home Economics Management Sciences and Specialised Disciplines, F-11/1, Islamabad, as early as possible.

The minister issued these directions while chairing the 4th meeting of steering committee of the college on Thursday. He also appreciated secretary CA&DD for timely release of funds for this important project. He also emphasized that he will not compromise on quality of work. He also directed that CDA to expedite removal of encroachments from the project site as stay has been vacated by the court. Later on, the minister inaugurated the 9th annual exhibition of Federal Government College of Home Economics and Management Sciences, Islamabad. He also witnessed the exhibited work of students. He said that credit for establishment of home economics college in Islamabad goes to present government as students and faculty had been waiting for the last 26 years for it. It was their dream that was fulfilled by the present government.
