PR ISLAMABAD - The RCI Millennium Campus I-9/3, organised an award distribution ceremony to recognise the young Millennials who have achieved scholarships and acceptances for the summer placements.

Ambassador Masood Khan, DG Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad, graced the occasion as a chief guest and appreciated the young Millennials for their outstanding achievements.

Millennial Huzaifa Ejaz of A Level has received 100% scholarship from an IV League the Yale Young Global Scholars Program (YYGS). This program offers a truly global environment on the Yale University campus each summer for talented high school students through a very competitive admissions process.

University of Rhodes Island organizes the “Building Bridges Summer Engineering Program” each summer. Millennials Taimoor Nasir, Taimur Aziz, Tamim Akhtar and Abuzar Zubair received 100% scholarship with the help of the unsurpassed counselling and support rendered by the school management. It is a comprehensive engineering program for students having a keen interest in the STEM fields.

To explore the world of politics, international relations, or economics at one of the most prestigious ivy-league universities, with the thriving international culture and economic energy of New York City as a powerful backdrop, JSA Summer School at Princeton University is the ideal program for future leaders. World distinction holder Millennial Summaya Najam got acceptance at this summer program after highly competitive admission selection process.

Another talented Millennial Umer Babar, who did three summer programs at University of Brown i.e. writing the analytical and expository essays, principles of immunology and the diseases of the human body.

The Oxford Seminar is a weeklong intellectual immersion for students that enables small groups of dedicated students to plunge into the subjects they love and to brush up on the skills required for university applications, all under the guidance of experts from Oxford University. Scholarships for this particular program are merit based.

1% of the applicant pool is granted this scholarship which means it is given to only 5 candidates across the world and Saad Ali Baloch is one of those 5 lucky applicants who got 100% scholarship.

Millennial Khushan Shahad got acceptance from the creative writing summer program at St Andrew’s University UK. It includes a series of master classes and workshops with leading Scottish writers to help students develop skills of authoring, oral presentation, editing and analysis in the stimulating environment of St Andrew’s.

The Global Young Leaders Conference is a 10-day leadership journey that helps students adopt international leadership strategies, embrace diverse cultures and backgrounds, and appreciate unique ways of thinking and seeing the world. In this highly competitive program, five very bright Millennials Taimur Aziz, Summaya Najam, Huzaifa Ejaz, Mohammed Nausherwan Khalid and Mohammed Salman Haider fostered by Roots Millennium Schools, have been selected.

Another 11 students of the Millennium Campus I-9/3, Islamabad attended STEM summer program of President Obama at University of South California encompassing Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.

Apart from the international summer experiences and scholarships more than 200 students of the Millennium Campus I-9/3, Islamabad have been engaged in internships, national summer camps and community programs.
