Rawalpindi - Pirzada Rahat Qadoosi, chief executive of Rawalpindi College of Commerce and distinguished educationalist, has said the decisions regarding rise and fall of nations are made in educational institutions.

Qadoosi was expressing these views while addressing the ceremony held in connection with prize distribution among the students who got distinguished positions in the annual examinations of intermediate.

He said the continuous hard work is necessary for achieving success in life. He said that this is the age of competition, saying the nations remain behind in every field of life which linger behind in the field of education.

He said that today’s student is more active and intelligent as compared to the past, saying the student of present age has more facilities but he is facing confusion with regard to his future.

Qadoosi said that in the new generation there is tendency of leaving the country for abroad which is not appropriate, saying the youth should serve the nation instead of providing benefit to the foreigners.

He said that students get success in the exams by virtue of their hard work, proficiency of teachers and attention of parents. He said the Rawalpindi College of Commerce like institutions are sign of bright future of the country, saying that this institution has been serving the nation for the last 27 years.

Later, Qadoosi distributed degrees and shields among the distinguished students.
