KARACHI - The Executive Council meeting of the Karachi University Teachers Society (KUTS) was held at the KU Staff Club on Thursday. KUTS acting president Prof Dr Maqsood Ansari chaired the meeting.

KUTS Secretary Dr Moiz Khan said that Director (Finance) Tariq Kaleem was trying to rejoin KU, but KUTS had made it clear two months ago at its general body meeting that the director (finance) was unacceptable.

It was decided at today’s meeting again that the director (finance) was not acceptable in any case. The KUTS acting president and secretary met the vice chancellor and told him that teachers would boycott classes and exams if an attempt was made to disrupt academic activities at the university.
