LAHORE: Provincial Minister for Cooperative Malik Iqbal Channar distributed laptops among 2,905 position-holder students at Government Post Graduate College, on Thursday. Director Colleges Dr Mehmoob-ul-Hassan, Principal College, Members National and Provincial Assembly and a large number of parents were present on the occasion.
Malik Iqbal said that the Punjab chief minister wanted to encourage talented students. He said that the government had upgraded science and computer laboratories in government schools and colleges. The minister said that best furniture has been provided to schools while special attention was being paid to enrollment of children.–Staff Reporter
