The Government Cluster Training and Support Centre organized one day training workshop for primary schoolteachers here the other day.

The objective of the workshop was to train and sensitize PSTs’ so that they can work effectively in the school. GCTSC NPT In-charge Dr Malik Munir Hussain Kallu headed training workshop while DDO Education Sheikh Amjad Ali Ijaz attended the event as chief guest.

The participants were given presentation on the measures needed to be adopted for quality education. The question and answers sessions were also held, co-ordinated by DTE’s Hafiz Abdul Latif, Malik Ushtar Thaeem, Kaliqur Rehman and Malik Moula Bakhsh Awan.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Malik Munir and the Deputy DEO said that academic institutions equipped with a team of mature, dedicated and motivated educationist could play a vital role in grooming the youth. They urged teachers that they have a vital role to play in nation building and advised them to dispense their responsibility towards the society with greater sense of commitment.

They asked the teachers to improve class room environment by introducing more conducive and interactive atmosphere as academic standards and general environment of an institution reflected the caliber of its teaching of facility. They emphasised need for grooming students not only into healthy thinking minds but also as men of character and integrity. They lauded the efforts of GCTSC NPT in full filling its goals of providing quality education. Later, the DTE’s delivered research oriented lectures.
