PEF completes training of lady teachers

The Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) has completed the second phase of lady teachers training for 75 community schools of Cholistan.
According to the PEF spokesperson, a two-day training workshop under Continuous Professional Development Programme was held in which a large number of lady teachers of PEF partnership community schools from Cholistan participated. The workshop was aimed at enhancing education standard at community schools of Cholistan through capacity building. The experts delivered lectures on different pedagogy techniques during the workshop for capacity building of participating teachers. After getting control of informal education community schools in Cholistan on the behalf of Cholistan Development Authority (CDA), the PEF has launched teachers training workshop and started imparting free education to Cholistani children in an organized way. The Punjab government has also started a programme with Rs150 million to provide facilities in schools in Cholistan region.
