LAHORE - The Punjab University Academic Staff Association on Tuesday took out a rally against construction of Orange Train Project offices on University Town 1 land and symbolically blocked campus road for one minute.

The teachers took out rally from Institute of Biochemistry and Biotechnology which concluded on Campus Road after briefly blocking the traffic. The protestors were holding placards and banners inscribed with anti-Orange Train project slogans.
Earlier, general body meeting of ASA was held in the auditorium of Institute of Biochemistry and Biotechnology which was presided over by Dr Hasan Mobeen Alam. Addressing the meeting, Dr Hasan Mobeen Alam said that TEPA and NESPAK officials were providing wrong information to the high ups which will create serious problems for the government.
