It’s alarming that the girls in our society are unsafe. Intermittently, a case is reported that a girl has either been killed in the name of honour or has been strangled while molested. Probably, the tyranny has entrenched a fear in minds of the girls that makes them contrite of being born girls. In fact, what stunned me the most is that being in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the girls do not have safeguard, so as to how the nation claims to have a holy religion that respects the women more than men. Surely, it can bring a bad name to our religion too. The Supreme Court and the other high authorities should take serious steps to prevent the ongoing brutality against woman.
