GUJRANWALA-Citizens were deprived of cash, gold ornaments, vehicles and other valuables in 32 incidents occurred in different areas over the past 48 hours.
According to police sources, in the Kamoki Saddr Police limits, armed men snatched Rs53,000 and cellphones; in Cantt area, dacoits took away applied for motorcycle and Rs7,000 from Farah; on Gill Road, bandits looted Rs17,000, two cellphones and gold chain from Kashif; in Gondlanwala, armed men entered the house of Nadeem and decamped with Rs40,000, laptop, cellphones and gold ornaments; in Alipur Chattha, Imran was deprived of Rs73,000, three cellphones and gold ornaments at gunpoint; at Emanabad, dacoits took away Rs47,000, locket set and cellphones from Hafeez while in Ahmed Nagar, bandits snatched Rs50,000, gold ornaments and cellphones from Saif. Similarly in Wazirabad Saddr area, robbers intercepted Sajjad and looted Rs40,000, cellphone from him; in the remit of Satellite Town Police, Waseem was deprived of Rs15,000, two cellphones and gold chain at gunpoint; in the Gujranwala Saddr area, dacoits looted Rs23,000, cellphone and gold ring from Naseem; in Cantt area, bandits snatched Rs30,000, two cellphones and gold locket set from Raja Waseem; at Awan Chowk robbers snatched Rs33,000, cellphone and gold ornaments from Mustansar while one Naeem was robbed of Rs37,000, two cellphones and gold rings in at Wahndo area.
On the other hand, in Kamoke city area, bandits looted Rs20,000, gold chain and cellphones from Faheem; in People's Colony, armed men took away Rs30,000, and cellphone from Nawaz; in Baghbanpura, robbers snatched Rs65,000, gold ornaments and cellphones from Asim; in Khiali, Nabeel was deprived of Rs27,000, and cellphones and in Tatley Wali, armed men took away Rs19,000, motorcycle and gold ring from Mohsin while at Ladhewala Warriach, robbers looted Rs34,000, cellphone and gold ring from Sohail. In Wahndo area, bandits snatched Rs110,000 and cellphone from Abdullah.
In other theft incidents, unknown thieves swept the houses and shops of Aman Ullah, Waqas, Saleem, Naseer, Hafiz Atif, Shoaib, Nadeem and Moazam, while car of Farooq and motorcycle of Faisal were stolen from different places.
