KHAIRPUR - A ceremony was held here at Darbar Hall police headquarters on Wednesday night at which certificates were awarded to the cops showing good performance.
Khadim Hussain Rind, DIGP, Sukkur Range, presided over the ceremony while Captain (r) Ghulam Azfar Mahesar, SSP Khairpur Amjad Shaikh SSP Sukkur Mansoor Ahmed Mughal SP Special Branch, Sukkur were also present.
The speakers, on the occasion, highlighted the vulnerability of the Khairpur district to terror attacks, and praised the district police for ensuring security during Muharram and Rabiul Awwal through effective planning, alertness and maintaining close coordination.
Later, Sukkur DIGP distributed commendation certificates (Reward CC-III with cash) among the following police officers/officials, including Special Branch staff, for their good performance during Muharramul-Haram & Rabbiul Awal 1439 AH/2017.
