PBIT, PCJCCI join hands for investment promotion

LAHORE - Punjab Board of Investment and Trade and the Pakistan China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry have signed a memorandum of understanding for synergizing their efforts by working together and advancing their common objectives, sharing quantitative and qualitative data and developing a common vision for the assessment and growth of investment opportunities.

CEO PBIT, Jahanzeb Burana and President PCJCCI, S. M. Naveed signed the agreement at Punjab Board of Investment and Trade office. The aims of signing this MoU are to set out the basis for cooperation between the two organizations for the economic integration of two brotherly nations - China and Pakistan - through increased regional connectivity for mutual benefit.

While addressing the ceremony, S.M. Naveed said and hoped that both Pakistanis and Chinese will equally be benefited by the initiatives taken by PCJCCI and PBIT joint venture. PCJCCI is a trade organization, established with the objective of promoting and encouraging bilateral investment by aiding, facilitating and assisting investors in their exchange with state, regulatory and government authorities, bodies and departments, pursuant to their investments.

While remaining within its mandate, CEO PBIT, Jahanzeb Burana ensured PCJCCI by providing all assistance required by PCJCCI in fulfilling its objectives and by aiding its members in the establishing, operation and management of their respective companies/enterprises/businesses/trade. Both organizations will enlighten each other and attempt to play an essential part in the trade and business fairs, expos and exhibitions.

Jahanzeb Burana said that PBIT will do whatever it can in order to provide a successful implementation of this MoU. PBIT and PCJCCI are looking forward to a productive and wonderful partnership.
