A woman was among three persons who were recovered dead from different parts of the metropolis on Wednesday, police and rescue workers said.  A 35-year-old woman was found dead alongside a footpath in Nasir Bagh on early Wednesday. Some passersby spotted the body during morning walk and contacted the police by phone. The police shifted the body, not identified yet, to the morgue for autopsy.  In another incident, a 30-year-old man was recovered dead from a rented house in Sabzazar on Wednesday. The deceased was identified by police as Sajid, a resident of Bahawalnagar. The police were investigating his death.  Meanwhile, a 35-year-old man was found dead under the Shanghai Bridge in Factory Area police precincts. Rescue workers shifted the body to the morgue for autopsy. –Staff Reporter

The deceased was identified as Siddique, a resident of Firdous Park. An official of the investigation police said the deceased was a drug addict. The police were investigating the death.
