OKARA-A six-year-old girl was abducted and murdered after allegedly being raped by unidentified suspects here in Chak 11/1L the other day.
According to police, six-year-old Aman Fatima of village 11/1L was playing in the street outside her home, when she was abducted by some unidentified suspects. When the minor did not return home, the family members started search for her in the village and even in the surrounding villages, but in vain. Monday morning, someone informed the family that dead body of Aman Fatima was laying in a sugarcane field outside the village. On information, the police rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body to DHQ Hospital Okara for autopsy and medico-legal formalities.
According to police sources, the minor had been assaulted sexually by the suspects before killing her. However, only autopsy report will confirm whether or not she was raped.
On the other, from the statements of the villagers, it transpired that Sharif and Allah Rakha of the same village had allegedly abducted the girl on a motorcycle. The police have arrested Sharif while efforts for the arrest of Allah Rakha are continued.
WOMAN ATTACKED WITH ACID
A woman sustained critical burns after her brother-in-law along with his accomplice doused her with acid for pursuing a case against her husband. The Depalpur Police have not registered any case of the incident yet. The woman, however, has been referred to a Lahore hospital in critical condition.
According to rescue sources, the woman identified as Fatima was doing shopping at Depalpur market, when her brother-in-law Qayyum and his accomplice attacked her with acid. Motive behind the attack is to be the woman is pursuing a case in the court over property against her husband who is working abroad. The Depalpur Police have not yet registered any case. 

4 brothers die in roof collapse

SANGLA HILL - Four young real brothers died and their mother and minor sister sustained injuries when roof of their house collapsed during rain in the wee hours of Monday, Rescue 1122 officials informed.
The rescue officials said that the incident occurred in Chak 18, Bahuro in the remit of Shah Kot Saddr Police during heavy rain.
According to rescue1122 sources, the family members were asleep when roof of the dilapidated house collapsed with a big bang, leaving all the family members buried under the debris. As a result, 17-year-old Owais, 12-year-old Waheed, 10-year-old Mustafa, and five-year-old Sharjeel died under the rubble while their mother 38-year-old Rehana and sister two-year-old Sehar Fatima sustained injuries . Both the injured were rushed to the THQ Hospital in critical condition.
