Will lead movement for restoration of justice: Nawaz

Ousted Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz Sharif and son-in-law Captain (r) Safdar reached accountability court as hearing for corruption cases against them resumed. 

Judge Muhammad Bashir was hearing the case. 

According to media reports National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has summoned three witnesses who will record their statements. 

Yasir Shabbir, witness in Al-Azizia references recorded his statement. He presented the accounts detail of Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz in the court. 

Furthermore, the lawyer of Nawaz Sharif, Khawaja Haris could not reach. His assistant, Ayesha Hamid is present in the court. 

Meanwhile, judge allowed Nawaz Sharif, Captain (r) Safdar and Maryam Nawaz to leave the court. 

While talking to media outside the court ousted prime minister stated that an imaginary payment became my asset. 

"There is clear double standards in my verdict and Imran Khan's verdict by Supreme Court," he said. 

Sharif further said that he does not know how he affected the national treasury. "A prime minister is disqualified in one second while a person who is accepting that it was his asset is not being disqualified," he said. 

Sharif reiterated that earlier he led movement for judiciary now he will lead movement for restoration of justice. "We will not accept these kind of verdicts and will go to people of Pakistan for justice," he maintained.
