Islamabad - The Chief Election Commissioner of Federal Government College Teachers Association (FGCTA) Dr Waseem Ahmad Khan has announced the schedule for the election of the Central body of FGCTA for the next term of 2015-16.
According to the schedule, election will be held on October 28, 2015. The election process will begin from October 5 when the office of Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) will start accepting nomination papers of the candidates. The deadline for accepting nomination papers is October 15.
Provisional list of candidates will be displayed on October 16, objections on the candidates can be submitted on October 19 to 20.
The date for withdrawal of papers and rejection of papers is October 21 and 22.  On October 26, CEC will issue the final list containing the names of eligible candidates.  The CEC will announce the final result on October 29, 2015.
FGCTA is an apolitical representative body of the professors and lecturers of Federal Government Colleges of Islamabad. FGCTA has always played a constructive role in the process of teaching, welfare of teachers and students of F.G. Colleges.
