LPG price increased by Rs10 per kg

ISLAMABAD - The Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) marketing companies on Monday increased price of the commodity by Rs10 per kilogramme. LPG Distributors Association Chairman Irfan Khokhar expressed concern over the increase and said the marketing companies had over-burdened the LPG consumers, said a press release issued here.

He said the consumers would have to pay Rs100 and Rs400 additional for each domestic and commercial cylinder respectively. Khokhar said the association had called its meeting on November 7 in Lahore to look into the issue of increasing LPG price. He said local administrations in different parts of Punjab had so far sealed 2,000 shops and 192 factories dealing with and manufacturing substandard cylinders.
