LAHORE (PR): Prof. Mian Muhammad Akram, the head of Economics Department, Govt. College of Science, Wahdat Road, Lahore, has been awarded with the degree of Ph.D. The University of Education Lahore has notified that Mian Muhammad Akram has passed the examination of degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the subject of Economics of his thesis entitiled: Poverty alleviation in Islamic perspective with reference to Zakat system in Pakistan.
