LAHORE- A two-day Hunar Mela, organized by the TEVTA is being started today (Friday) at Pearl Continental Hotel, aiming at sensitizing the youth about the importance of being skilled and the training opportunities available for them. The two-day Hunar Mela is supported by the TVET Reform Support Programme, which is co-funded by the European Union, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Federal Republic of Germany and implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. TEVTA institutes, industry partners, prominent training institutes from the public sector will set up their stalls and products of the trainees on this occasion.
While some of the stalls will also have the success stories from a number of TEVTA institutes.
Chief Operating Officer TEVTA Jawad Ahmed Qureshi said that this event will help the youth of Punjab to get first-hand information about the skill development opportunities available for them in the TVET system.
