‘Telenor Companion Watch’ now available
ISLAMABAD (PR): Telenor Companion Watch, a communication gadget that enables parents to stay in touch and keep track of their children when they are not with them, is now available for purchase off the shelf. It was showcased for the first time in November 2015 at the Internet of Things (IoT) Expo in Karachi, organized by Telenor Pakistan.
The Companion watch is available at Telenor Pakistan’s sales and service centers and on its website. Customers can also place orders at Telenor Pakistan franchises across the country. Telenor Companion Watch connects with parents’/admin’s smartphones through an app that displays the accurate and real-time location of the child using GPS. Children can generate SOS call to designated numbers in case of an emergency.
SOS calls are diverted automatically to other member’s number if it is rejected / unattended from the first number. The wearable gadget also allows children to send and receive voice messages from the watch, which parents / admin can listen to and record in the application. Another great feature of the watch is geo-fencing through which parents can map safe zones for the child and get alerts as soon as the child goes beyond the fence. Silent voice monitoring feature is also available in the watch.
A parent can monitor as many as five Companion watches at a time and assign them different names in the mobile phone app for easy identification of the child. In case of purchase of more than five watches, guardian/spouse can purchase it on his/her behalf providing the Guardianship Certificate.

Gul Ahmed& Pink Ribbon sign an MOU
LAHORE (PR): On international Women’s Day, The Pink Ribbon and Gul Ahmed signed a memorandum of understanding with the goal of raising awareness about breast cancer– a disease that takes the life of approximately every1 in 9 women in Pakistan. Gul Ahmed endeavors to spread awareness of this epidemic disease amongst the local female population through their extensive network of stores along with a 360* CSR Campaign across the nation.
At the ceremony, Gul Ahmed was represented by COO Ms Shehnaz Basit, while Pink Ribbon was represented by CEO Omer Aftab. Gul Ahmed has made Pink Ribbon Pakistan its exclusive CSR partner, with the commitment to reduce the spread of this disease by educating the masses and help raise donations for the Pink Ribbon Hospital project. The first of its kind, this hospital will mainly identify and treat breast cancer patients.
The Pink Ribbon Campaign (PRC) follows the model of Public-Social-Private Partnership, engaging the corporate sector as their important associates. Aftab called the collaboration a breakthrough since Gul Ahmed is a reputable yet a socially conscious organization representing Pakistan around the world.

Sunsilk launches Fashion Edition Bottles 2016
KARACHI (PR): Sunsilk unveiled its much anticipated Fashion Edition Bottles for 2016 in an exclusive fashionable gathering held at Alliance Francaise. The event was attended by Pakistan’s most celebrated fashion designers, celebrities, socialites and media.

Emirates Holidays appoints preferred agents
LAHORE (PR): Emirates Holidays, the tour-operating arm of Emirates airline, has appointed four Preferred Agents (PAs) for Pakistan, based in Karachi and Islamabad. Jas Travels, Aroma Travels and Universal Travels are based in Karachi, and Waqas Travels in Islamabad, have been appointed as exclusive preferred agents for the promotion and sales of Emirates Holidays leisure products in the country.
