LAHORE  : The FBR on Tuesday established Income Tax Facilitation Desk at LCCI to receive returns from taxpayers. The desk has been established on the directions of Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar. LCCI acting president Mian Tariq Misbah had brought into the notice of the Federal Finance Minister that a large number of businessmen were unable to file their returns on time only because of complex tax procedures. Therefore, either, the time for filing of Income returns should be extended or a dedicated desk should be established at the LCCI to facilitate all those members who were facing problems.
The Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry has, meanwhile, appealed to all its members to avail the facility.
The desk has been setup in the Membership Department of the LCCI and would work as per LCCI timings.
