ISLAMABAD – The price of eggs has increased to Rs 110 per dozen in twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi due to high demand. Meanwhile, the rate of chicken has dropped to Rs 100 per kg due to decrease in demand ahead of upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.
Poultry traders said that further decrease expected in coming days. They said demand for chicken decreases during Eid-ul-Azha which forces the farmers and sellers to cut its price to attract customers.
