Plane makes emergency landing after developing fault

islamabad - An airplane of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) made an emergency landing at Benazir Bhutto Islamabad International Airport (BBIIA) soon after taking off on Saturday after its hydraulic system developed fault.
According to details, PIA Boeing 777 flight number PK-3209, which took off from BBIIA at 01:00pm for Jeddah to bring back some 400 pilgrims, made an emergency landing at the runway after its hydraulic system developed fault.
PIA engineers were called in who repaired the hydraulic system and after one and half hours the airplane flew for Jeddah. However, the airplane once again developed fault in hydraulic system in Jeddah. The airplane was scheduled to reach BBII at 11:30pm on Saturday with 400 passengers on board but now it was expected that the airplane would reach Pakistan at 02:30am on Sunday.
PIA Spokesman Mashood Tajwar, when contacted, said that the engineers have been trying their level best to remove the fault of airplane. He said that all pilgrims would be brought back in Pakistan in time.
On the other hand, a large number of passengers staged a protest demonstration against cancellation of a PIA flight scheduled to fly for Copenhagen. The passengers bellowed slogans against PIA administration. According to details, PIA flight number PK-771 was scheduled to fly from BBIIA at 12:00pm for Copenhagen but the PIA administration started delaying the flight and finally announced the cancellation of flight after 8 hours. This annoyed the passengers who agitated at the lounge. Sensing the sensitivity of the issue, ASF was called in to control the situation.
