After successfully working in the country as major film distributor Pakistan Summit Entertainment is all set to start work on their first in-house production “Teri Meri Love story” a romantic comedy movie revolving around a love triangle.
A special meet and great session was held yesterday at Super Vogue Tower Cinema to unveil the star cast and crew of the movie. Ahmed Abdul Rehman is the writer of the film while Jawad Bashir will direct it. Heartthrob Mohib Mirza, Ushna Shah and super model Omer Shahzad are included in the star cast, which also includes legendary actor Salman Shahid, Mohsin Abbas, Uzma Khan and Leyla Zubairi. The film is set in the scenic beautiful areas of Naran Valley and Lake Saif-ul-Muluq. Play back singers are Amanat Ali, Shoaib Mughal,Talha Ansar,Qaiser Tipu, Ahsan Pervaiz,Saman, Ruba Khan and Hassan Abbas. Music for the film has been composed by Afzal Hussain and Ahsen Pervaiz.
The synopsis of the story says Esha wants to marry her true love Ramis (Omer Shahzad) but her father is adamant that she marries her childhood family friend (Mohib Mirza). The film follows the trio’s adventurous and hilarious journey to finding true love. The film is expected to be released this fall.
Director Jawad Bashir told The Nation that the reason he made film Maya was because he wanted to prove that he could also direct a horror flick. “No horror films are in the country; something that I wanted to change. Teri Meri Love Story is a romantic and pure entertainment movie for whole the family to watch. It is a high budget movie, which would be shot on original location.”
It feels good to shoot a film in a genre which I am most comfortable with. My fans wanted me to direct a comedy movie. I dedicate this film to them,” Jawad said.
