Colin Farrell has confirmed rumours that he will appear in the second season of True Detective.
Speaking to Irish newspaper Sunday World (via Vulture), the Total Recall star said he would feature in eight episodes of the upcoming second season. “I’m so excited...I know it will be eight episodes and take around four or five months to shoot,” Farrell said.
“I know very little about it, but we’re shooting in the environs of Los Angeles, which is great. It means I get to stay at home and see the kids.”
The upcoming series will reportedly revolve around the “bloody murder of a corrupt city businessman”. It is said that police officials from three different cities will attempt to solve the murder.
Farrell and Taylor Kitsch were both linked to the second season after it was confirmed that Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson would not be returning.
