The award show is slated to take place on April 9, 2015 at Dubai World Trade Centre and is part of celebrations for HUM’s 10 years in the entertainment industry and its success globally. This is the first time that the awards show will be taking place in Dubai, since its inception in 2013, and Dubai’s entertainment-scape is sure to light up as the crème de la crème of Pakistan’s entertainment and fashion industries, along with local dignitaries will be present to witness the celebration of HUM’s success.
Servis 3rd HUM Awards, powered by Telenor promises to be bigger, better and more glamorous than its previous editions and will feature debut on-stage performances by ace actors and heartthrobs of Pakistan’s entertainment industry. Apart from performers from Pakistan the ceremony will showcase some international acts as well. The glittering awards ceremony is held every year to acknowledge and honour the contributions of actors, singers, play writers, directors and producers associated with the Network’s plays/productions along with awards in the categories of music and fashion, dubbed a roaring success by the viewers and media critics alike from its very first show. The award show also includes special segments to honour all those who have played a vital role in shaping the entertainment landscape of Pakistan. The awards ceremony will feature a combination of viewers’ choice awards and categories selected by a panel of judges, comprising some of the finest names from the Pakistani entertainment industry.
The reason for hosting the award show in Dubai this year is HUM’s phenomenal global success which has once again marked a significant place for Pakistani dramas on the global-scape, with some of HUM’s most successful projects enjoyed not only in Pakistan but across the borders as well. There is a steadily increasing following of HUM’s dramas in India and the Gulf where HUM’s content is dubbed for the Arab audiences.
