TEHRAN (AFP) - Iran labelled as unacceptable on Tuesday a remark by French President Nicolas Sarkozy that Irans people deserve better leaders than the ones they have. Unfortunately, France, which is adopting more and more extremist stances, has decided to interfere in the domestic affairs of Iran, which is totally unacceptable, said the spokesman for the Foreign Ministry, quoted by the ISNA news agency. Speaking in Berlin on Monday after talks with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Sarkozy had said, The people of Iran deserve better than their current leaders. I want to say how much we admire the courage of the Iranian people.
