Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani has stressed the NATO countries to realize Pakistans perspective for the region, report said on Wednesday. Addressing the two-day session of NATOs Military Committee here, Kayani stated that NATO must understand Pakistans strategy and perspective on regions security situation. The army chief emphasize on the need of enhanced cooperation particularly in intelligence sharing with the NATO countries. The COAS is in Brussels on special invitation of Admiral Giampaolo Di Paolo, Chairman Military Committee of NATO to participate in the summit. The Military Committee, the highest forum of NATO, discussed various strategic issues concerning to the Organization and US-led war in Afghanistan.
