S Arabia gifts 200 tonnes dates to Pakistan

ISLAMABAD - The Saudi Arabian government provided 200 tonnes of dates to the Pakistani government as a gift.  Jassim Mohammad Khalid Al-Khaldi, Deputy Head of Mission Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Embassy in Islamabad on behalf of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia formally handed over the consignment to Capt (Retd) Muhammad Aftab, Director General (ERC), Cabinet Division, Islamabad on Thursday. Senior officials of Foreign Office and Cabinet Division were also present.  Capt (Retd) Muhammad Aftab, Director General (ERC), Cabinet Division on behalf of the Government of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, expressed sincere thanks and gratitude for this kind gesture of the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.  He also conveyed warm sentiments of the people of Pakistan for their Saudi brethren for their love and affection and also expressed the hope that the warm and cordial relations between the two brotherly states will continue to flourish in the times to come.
