Open house held at TMUC

Islamabad - The Millennium University College (TMUC) held its first open house at The Millennium University College Campus H-11/4, a newly built state-of-the-art purpose built university campus at mainland higher education district of Islamabad.
Rector of The Millennium University College Faisal Mushtaq (TI) spoke to the students, parents and the members of the academia. He informed that TMUC aims to be an institution of higher learning degree provider in Pakistan dedicated to providing innovative undergraduate, graduate, and professional education for a growing youth cohort of Pakistan; where 63% of the country’s populations is under 25 years of age. By bringing a range of international qualifications home, TMUC aspires to be recognized as the leading institution for borderless education, committed to providing opportunities that exceed local stream of education for the youth of Pakistan.
Speaking to the large crowd he apprised the audience of the programmes being offered from management to social sciences and laws and fashion. The newly built campus is the only campus in Islamabad for the international programmes students. TMUC has state-of-the-art educational, research, incubation, knowledge sharing, entrepreneurship and languages labs, technology, learning and teaching facilities for students, faculty and community. The 125,000 sq feet building is set in the foothills of Margallas and is designed as a sustainable Eco friendly architecture boasting 21st century ideals for learning and innovation. TMUC shall also be offering UK’s BTEC HND Qualifications in Fashion, Design, Business, Hospitality, Media and Environmental Management with a range of transnational qualifications and full time degree and qualification programs including accounting qualifications of ACCA & CIMA.
The Dean of Academics Safia Faruqi a fine name in the educational leadership for over 28 years was enthralled at the Open house and said that such facility will help give students a parallel choice with local degrees. Now the brain drain will lower as students will have employable education in Pakistan and the students will not have to go abroad.
The Millennium University College-TMUC would assist Roots Millennium School’s mission and commitment to developing the right set of skills, attitudes, knowledge and values within graduating Millennials so that they can confidently meet the global challenges of the 21st century. Giving the youth of Pakistan an opportunity to compete with the global economy and providing value added education that opens doors for them globally.
