Rawalpindi - Police on Friday launched an operation in the jurisdiction of Saddar Barooni Police Station.
   The operation was carried out on the special directives of City Police Officer Israr Ahmed Khan Abbasi to curb crime.
    The operation was supervised by superintendent of police Saddar.
   During the operation, the police questioned 431 persons and checked 79 houses, hotels, motels and vehicles, a police spokesman said.
