ISLAMABAD  - Change of Command ceremony for Pakistan Navy Coastal Command was held at the Headquarters COMMANDER COAST on Wednesday. Rear Admiral Syed Bashir Ahmed took over Coastal Command of Pakistan Navy Coastal from Vice Admiral Syed Arifullah Hussaini.
According to the statement of Pakistan Navy, on assumption of Command, the newly appointed Commander Coast was presented Guard of Honour and was introduced to the Commanding Officers of the units under command.
As commander coast, Rear Admiral Syed Bashir Ahmed is now in-charge of all units and establishments of Pakistan Navy along the coastal belt and Creek areas. In addition, he would also head Special Services Group (Navy) and Pak Marines.
