SI booked on fraud charges





RAWALPINDI – Police Station Sadiqabad filed a case against a sub inspector (SI) on charges of committing fraud.
Meanwhile, the carjackers lifted two motorcycles and a car from different localities of the city, informed police on Wednesday. Syed Hamid Hussain filed an application with PS Sadiqabad that he bought a car from Ghulam Mustafa at the cost of Rs 500,000 but registration book of which was not handed over him by the owner. He said that later the owner of the car in collaboration with police impounded the car in PS City.
He mentioned later SI Muhammad Amin transferred the car on the name of Adnan, the son of Inspector Munir. He said that he approached court against this fraud.
The court directed the SI to register the car as case property but he did not do so and embezzled the car, he added in the application. A case was registered by PS Sadiqabad against the fraudsters including SI Muhammad Amin with no arrest so far.
On the other hand, an applied for motor cycle was stolen from Arya Mohala, the limits of PS City; Corolla car of Sajida Jabeen was pilfered by unknown robbers from Sector II of Khayaban-e-Sir Syed, the area of PS Pirwadhai and a Honda 125 motorcycle (RID 4242) was picked up by intruders from Sadiqabad.
