The Interior Ministry issued a notice on Friday announcing two weekly holidays to take place in government offices. According to the notification, the new office timing for government employees would be from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. The notification also stated that there would be a two-hour break from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm for Friday prayers. The State Bank of Pakistan also announced two weekly holidays for SBP and all commercial banks. Banks will now remain closed on Saturdays and Sundays both. The new government office timings will be implemented from April 26.
