RAWALPINDI - The eunuchs agitated outside the Regional Police Officer (RPO) Office on Thursday against the brutality of Police Station (PS) Rangoo officials of Hazro District, who had allegedly detained four trance-genders and snatched cash from them last night.
Led by All Pakistan Shemales Association (APSA) President Almas Bobby, more than 150 eunuchs gathered outside the RPO Office and staged a protest demo against the police officials.
They chanted slogans against the area SHO Haji Azam and demanded of Chief Justice of Pakistan and Chief Minister Punjab to take action against the police officer immediately.
Almas Bobby, while talking to TheNation, alleged that the SHO Rangoo had detained four trance-genders including Sana Khan at Weesa Village last night when they were returning home after performing in an engagement function.
She said that the police shifted them to the police station where they were harassed the whole night. She alleged that SHO Azam also snatched Rs 150,000 cash from Sana Khan and three other trance-genders and filed a phony case against them.
Later, the police produced all the eunuchs in a local court, which granted them bails, she said.
